About Your Role

In this role, you will help drive our vision of a Safe, Stable, and Sustainable vision by:
* Proactively monitoring and troubleshooting Industry 4.0 systems to ensure optimal performance
* Managing data and providing guidance on integration of solutions
* Building strong relationships with key stakeholders across site
* Identifying operational challenges and translating them into actionable Industry 4.0 opportunities
* Collaborating with development teams to scope technical requirements and deliver practical solutions
* Leading change management initiatives to minimise risk and ensure smooth implementation of new technologies
* Championing the long-term sustainability and continuous improvement of implemented solutions
What You Will Bring
To succeed in this role, you will be a proactive and solutions-focused professional with a strong technical foundation and the ability to drive digital transformation initiatives. Your background will include:
* A proven ability to leverage data and advanced problem-solving techniques to drive business improvements
* Strong SQL skills, including the ability to query existing databases/cloud systems, as well as experience in systems design and implementation
* Expertise in database design, architecture, and management
* Hands-on experience with the Microsoft Power Platform, particularly Power BI and Power Apps
* Proficiency in coding/scripting to automate tasks (C# experience is highly regarded)
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with the confidence to work effectively with senior executives
* Strong collaboration and project management capabilities, including facilitation of problem-solving and innovation workshops
* Experience in data migration, data warehousing, ETL/ELT pipelines, APIs, data modelling, quality assurance, and reporting/visualisation
* A solid understanding of change management principles and practices
* Industry experience in an alumina refinery or similar heavy industrial environment, with familiarity in operations, processes, and maintenance is highly regarded
