About the Role
As a Senior Business Analyst – Business Design in the Lending Transformation Team, you'll play a key role in leading the transformation for the future state of lending processes for our Business & Private Bank Bankers. You'll bring your specialist experience and knowledge to the programme to ensure that existing processes, policies and products are challenged and transformed, achieving balanced risk with a good experience for our bankers and customers

What will your day look like?
This role is accountable for:
Lead the business design and development of transforming business capabilities and processes that enable the objectives of the Project to be achieved, including:
Leading and enabling the simplification of lending processes, policies and products across the business to drive lending transformation.
Supporting current state process documentation
Lead future state process definition and documentation
Supporting business requirement elicitation
Facilitating working groups with key stakeholders to identify and evaluate opportunities and progress initiatives to improve the lending process.
Executing User Acceptance Testing to ensure the developed product meets user, credit policy and process requirements.
Ensuring the project embeds BAU policy changes to maintain compliance of the future solution.
Collaborating with Commercial Governance and Group Credit Risk stakeholders to ensure that new policies, procedures and requirements are consistent with APRA prudential standards, and Bank appetite.
Ensuring policy/requirements/procedure changes follow existing appropriate governance frameworks and these are appropriately accommodated in Projects planning.
Working with Commercial Lend and Grow stakeholders and other Project team members to identify risks and developing appropriate treatment plans and mitigations that ensure that the programme improves the overall risk profile of Commercial Lending at ANZ
Being an advocate for change within the programme and across the business, helping influence stakeholders on improved ways to achieve outcomes that are better for customers, bankers and Risk by challenging the status quo.
Support and where required, facilitate the implementation of releases to end users.
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
7-10+ years banking experience in lending related roles (i.e. Credit Manager, Credit Risk Implementation Manager, Relationship Manager etc).
7-10+ years experience in Project delivery or Analyst profession roles (Design lead, Product Owner, Process Analyst, Systems Analyst, Business Analyst, etc)
A deep understanding of Lending and Credit processes, including:
Credit Policies and the regulatory and compliance obligations they are designed to meet
The linkages of current state processes by the multiple systems and tools, and the implications of changing these
Demonstrable understanding of Lending and Credit Risk systems and infrastructure, including best practice for automated and assisted decisioning utilising alternate data sources and practices.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to contextualise and communicate complex problems in simple and relatable ways for a wide range of stakeholders
Strong curiosity and attention to detail.
Demonstrated experience balancing risk and customer experience in process reengineering.
Strong ability to lead and be adaptive in a changing environment, with a strong appetite for learning.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
