Office Administrator
We are seeking an experienced Office Administrator to join our team in Lidcombe. The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting day-to-day operations and senior leadership, ensuring the smooth running of the business and wider team.
About the Role
This is a newly created position that requires someone with excellent organizational skills and a positive attitude. As an Office Administrator, you will be responsible for providing estimating support, supplier pricing coordination, and job costing.
* Acting as support to the Director and wider team of technicians
* Providing general administration duties, handling insurances, leave tracking, internal compliance, and ad-hoc administrative needs
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of office management experience, preferably within the construction or building sector. You should be a confident multitasker who can juggle competing priorities with ease and possess excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide estimating support and supplier pricing coordination
- Manage procurement & orders, track overseas purchases, liaise with suppliers and freight providers, and ensure accurate and timely deliveries
- Assist with invoicing, purchase orders, and MYOB administration (experience with MYOB preferred but not essential)
- Handle general administration duties, including insurance, leave tracking, and internal compliance
- Support the Director and wider team of technicians
Requirements
- 3+ years of office management experience (preferably within the construction or building sector)
- Excellent organizational skills and a positive attitude
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
