Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled mechanical fitter to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of rail vehicles.
Our ideal candidate is a self-motivated individual with excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for working collaboratively.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform fault diagnosis, identification, and rectification on electrical and mechanical systems of rail vehicles.
* Test, repair, overhaul, or modify rail vehicle systems, including braking, traction, suspension, and other related systems.
* Assist in identifying and producing vehicle modification programs to improve reliability and maintainability.
* Perform post-work testing and validation as necessary.
Requirements:
* A strong ability to work autonomously and under pressure.
* Rolling Stock maintenance experience.
* Cert III Engineering (Mechanical Trade) or equivalent qualification.
