Role Overview
The Key Account Manager is responsible for managing and growing relationships with key customers while supporting the company's commercial and business development objectives. The role works closely with customers and internal teams to identify opportunities, coordinate proposals, and support successful project delivery.
Key Focus Areas
* Manage long‐term customer relationships and act as the primary point of contact.
* Identify and develop new opportunities within assigned accounts.
* Support tenders, quotations, and contract discussions/negotiations in line with governance.
* Coordinate with internal technical, commercial, and operational teams to meet customer requirements.
* Promote the company's products and solutions in target markets.
Experience & Background
* Experience in key account management, sales engineering, commercial management, or a similar customer‐facing role.
* Experience supporting tendering, proposal/quotation preparation, or contract‐related activities.
* Tertiary qualification in business, engineering, marketing, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
* Product & technical understanding: Sound knowledge of IHI/IEA products, or the ability to quickly acquire technical and product knowledge.
* Client & stakeholder management: Strong customer relationship management and internal stakeholder liaison across teams.
* Commercial & tender capability: Ability to support estimates, quotations, tenders, contract proposals, and commercial negotiations.
* Communication: Excellent oral and written communication skills for internal and external engagement.
* Leadership & judgement: Strong analytical/problem‐solving skills with demonstrated leadership and the ability to work effectively across cultures.
