Norship is currently seeking a trade-qualified or experienced aluminium boat builder to join our team in Cairns, supporting a strong pipeline of refit, repair, and exciting new build projects. With an immediate start available, we offer flexible employment options – casual, permanent, or fixed-term – and for the right candidate, relocation assistance may be considered.

Essential Requirements:
* Experienced in aluminium boat building
* Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and effective problem-solving abilities
* Ability to read and interpret technical construction drawings
* Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment
* Able to work both independently and as part of a team
* Current driver's licence and access to reliable transport
* Applicants must have full working rights
Key Duties:
* Fabricate and weld aluminium vessels for new builds, refits, and repair projects to a high standard
* Interpret and follow detailed technical drawings and plans
* Assist and support senior team members and supervisors
* Maintain clean and safe working areas in line with WH&S practices
* Communicate effectively and work collaboratively across departments
