Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site role for a Paralegal/Legal Assistant in Family Law, located in the Greater Melbourne Area. The role involves supporting attorneys in preparing legal documents, conducting research, reviewing case documents, and managing administrative tasks. Additional responsibilities include assisting with communications with clients, keeping records organized, and handling confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
Qualifications
* Strong foundation in Law and experience or education in Legal Document Preparation
* Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written, for interaction with clients and legal professionals
* Proficiency in conducting precise and efficient Research for legal cases
* Attention to detail and accuracy in Document Review and organization
* A minimum of 1 year of experience in a legal office or a strong willingness to learn
* Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
* Familiarity with Family Law and legal aid processes is considered an advantage
