Our organization is seeking a seasoned Survey Manager to lead our survey team. This position reports directly to the Director of Operations and is accountable for overseeing the day-to-day management of the survey business, encompassing direction, coordination, and safety of survey staff.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing client relationships and expectations to ensure the successful delivery of survey projects. Key responsibilities include planning, coordinating, and executing survey projects, including budgeting, technical design, and subcontractor management.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, with the ability to advise and consult with clients and staff across a wide range of issues. They will also possess sound practical land survey experience in either geodetic or engineering surveying in support of the resource industry and infrastructure development.
Key requirements for this position include:
* A university qualification or TAFE Diploma in Surveying
* A valid driver's license
* 5 years' experience managing survey field teams, especially in remote GPS / TLS / MLS / UAV / UAS surveys
Prior experience as a Registered Surveyor NSW would be highly desirable. In addition, the ability to work comfortably in a variety of environments and adapt to changing circumstances is essential.
