Your new role
- Working on a subdivision of 40-70 houses in Mirani
- Overseeing daily site operations to ensure construction activities are completed safely, on time, and within budget
- Coordinating and supervising trades, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain project schedules and quality standards
- Conducting regular site inspections to ensure all work complies with plans, specifications, and safety regulations
- Managing site resources, including materials, equipment, and workforce allocation
- Maintaining accurate project records, such as daily logs, progress reports, and incident reports
- Addressing and resolving any issues or delays that arise during construction
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous residential supervisory experience
- Relevant trade qualification - highly desirable
- QBCC licence - highly desirable
- Driver's licence and/or reliable transport
- Contactable references
- Living locally in the Mackay region
What you'll get in return
If successful, you'll join our client as a Site Supervisor overseeing a major residential subdivision in Mirani, commencing in 2026. This permanent role offers flexibility, with all communication managed remotely and no local office required. You'll supervise the construction of 40-70 homes per year, with at least five years of ongoing work planned. The ideal candidate will have a residential background, preferably trade qualified, and a QBCC licence is desirable but not essential. A competitive salary package is on offer, starting from $110k plus phone, car, fuel card, and laptop. Work is Monday to Friday, with a relaxed approach as long as project outcomes are achieved.
