About the Role:
This critical advisory position focuses on managing fatigue risks, supporting operational safety by providing expert advice, facilitating workshops, analyzing data, and contributing to continuous improvement in our Fatigue Risk Management System.
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing specialist advice and support on fatigue risk management across the organization.
* Assisting in implementing and enhancing the Fatigue Risk Management System.
* Developing fatigue risk assessments specific to tasks and work contexts at the enterprise level.
* Analyzing fatigue-related data and presenting actionable insights and recommendations.
* Designing and delivering training programs for fatigue management.
* Contributing specialist fatigue input to incident investigations and learning from incidents.
* Identifying and supporting opportunities for continuous improvement related to fatigue risk.
About You:
* To succeed in this role, you will require a strong mix of technical knowledge, stakeholder engagement capabilities, and a proactive mindset.
* A tertiary qualification in psychology, human factors, behavioral science, or a related field is preferred.
* Experience managing fatigue risks in transportation or heavy industry environments is preferred.
* Implementing or supporting Fatigue Risk Management Systems in complex organizational settings is desirable.
* Familiarity with bio-mathematical modeling tools used for fatigue prediction and analysis is an asset.
* Proven ability to collaborate with stakeholders across multiple functions and levels is essential.
* Experience identifying and managing fatigue or human factors issues in safety-critical environments is necessary.
* Strong capability to work independently and meet deadlines is required.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) is mandatory.
