About This Role
This position offers a unique opportunity to build strong relationships with children and families, while delivering engaging active programs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead daily operations to ensure a fun, safe, and enriching environment for school-aged children.
* Design and implement interactive programs that cater to individual and group needs, including sports, games, cooking, art, and craft.
* Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and the community.
* Supervise and mentor educators, junior employees, and students to guarantee high-quality service delivery.
* Maintain a safe and inclusive environment in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
* A diploma in Children's Services or equivalent, OR 3+ years of experience working with school-aged children.
* The ability to work independently and supervise groups of up to 15 children.
* Experience in leading and mentoring staff in an education setting.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Knowledge of childhood development, programming, and regulations (e.g., NQF, My Time Our Place Framework).
* Ability to use digital and cloud-based systems for administration and reporting.
