You will lead payroll operations, ensure compliance with industrial instruments and legislation, and act as the key point of contact for all payroll-related matters.This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced payroll professional looking to take the next step in their career within a well-respected, fast-paced organisation.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the processing of end-to-end payroll for both weekly and salaried staffManage payroll compliance in accordance with the Building and Construction Industry Awards, and Fair Work legislationSupervise payroll reporting, reconciliations, and month-end processesInterpret complex employment terms, resolve escalated payroll queries, and support internal stakeholdersOversee employee onboarding and termination processes from a payroll perspectiveMaintain and update employee data in the payroll systemCollaborate with HR, Finance, and operational leaders to ensure accurate and timely payroll service deliveryDrive improvements in payroll systems and processes, including implementation of best practicesAssist in preparing reports for audits and external compliance requirementsAbout YouTo thrive in this role, you will bring:Proven experience in a senior payroll position, ideally within the construction, industrial services, or resources sectorsExpert knowledge of payroll legislation, taxation, superannuation, and Fair Work complianceStrong capability in interpreting and applying Enterprise Agreements and AwardsHigh level of accuracy, integrity, and confidentialityProficiency in payroll systems (Jobpac an advantage)Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesA proactive mindset and ability to lead by exampleWhat We Can Offer YouSupportive Management TeamWork alongside a dedicated leadership group that prioritises your well-being, safety, and professional growth.
