Electrical Connections Sales Manager Position
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced sales professional to lead our electrical connections business. As an Electrical Connections Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving end-user and contractor demand, achieving distributor sales growth, and developing sales strategies to increase revenue in Oceania.
You will be the key liaison between customers and support functions, collaborating on product strategies to ensure effective sales through teamwork. A successful candidate will have strong knowledge of P&L and the ramifications to daily business decisions, as well as highly developed selling, financial management, and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Drive end user and contractor demand; achieve distributor sales growth
* Develop sales strategies to increase revenue in Oceania
* Build and implement regional sales plans for customer growth and new business
* Partner with marketing and product teams to identify improvement opportunities & ensure effective sales through team work
* Refine value propositions for distributors to grow market share
* Lead and mentor the sales team, ensuring strategy understanding and accountability by setting clear expectations and accountability for achieving sales objectives
* You will be the liaison between customers and support functions, collaborating on product strategies
Requirements:
* A Bachelor's Degree is preferred, or applicable experience in technical sales
* Ideally 10 + years experience in outside sales and/or territory management, with 3 + years in a team lead position
* Experience with Electrical sales with a focus on end user demand creation & channel development
* Great skills in working with end users on creating solutions to meet their needs, as well as expertise in dealing with electrical and/or mechanical distributors
* You are used to work with a CRM, Salesforce - preferred, and internal sales programs
* You are a great communicator with abilities to work optimally within a multi-function environment, and balance customer and company objectives
* Confident value-based selling approach, with strong skills in analyzing customer information and assess trends & opportunities
* Strong knowledge of P&L and the ramifications to daily business decisions
* Highly developed selling, financial management and organizational skills
* Strong PC skills including MS Office Suite
* Previous exposure to coaching and team building with all levels within an organization
