Senior Full Stack & Integration Engineer (Backend Focus)

Family Doctor operates more than 100 medical centres across Australia and continues to expand through acquisitions and digital platform development. We are investing heavily in building custom digital platforms and enterprise integrations across our healthcare ecosystem.
We are seeking a Senior Full Stack & Integration Engineer with strong backend and systems integration experience to help design and build these platforms. This role is suited to engineers who enjoy working across the stack, but whose core strength lies in backend architecture, transactional systems, and enterprise integrations.
The Role
You will help design and build enterprise-grade platforms and integration infrastructure that connect multiple internal and external systems.
Responsibilities
* Designing backend services and API platforms
* Building integrations with external systems
* Implementing transactional workflows including payments, shipping and fulfilment
* Managing reconciliation, refunds and chargebacks
* Building reliable data synchronisation processes
* Contributing to frontend and mobile interfaces built using React
Technical Experience
* Backend development using .NET / C# or similar frameworks
* API architecture and systems integration
* MS SQL Server database design and optimisation
* NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB
* React or similar frontend frameworks
* Payment integrations and transactional workflows
* Debugging and operating production systems
Highly Regarded
* High-volume transactional platforms
* Enterprise integrations
* Cloud-native or serverless deployments
* Healthcare or regulated industry systems
Important
This role is suited to experienced engineers who have built and operated real production systems. Applicants should be able to demonstrate platforms and integrations they have personally designed or delivered.
