The Role
Reporting to the Head of Finance, this role assists with managing and developing the Supply Chain and Manufacturing Finance teams to succeed in their roles and deliver to business requirements. This position supports the team by providing trusted advice and insights to help drive strong business performance in the areas of efficiency improvement, cost management, working capital, asset utilization, capital management, and procurement opportunities.
Primary Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To
* Utilising a deep understanding of financial and commercial drivers: provide advice on the business implications of cost, pricing, and supply chain decision-making.
* Provide meaningful financial insights and quality data analysis to Supply Chain.
* Deliver insightful analysis and reporting of the organization’s direct and indirect cost and efficiency drivers to support informed decision-making.
* Leverage established KPIs, scorecards, and reporting solutions to analyze and track operational performance.
* Provide strategic commercial support to business leaders to enable the delivery of strategic transformation projects in Supply Chain, such as supply network optimization.
* Build partnerships and effective relationships with key stakeholders (Supply Chain & Operations, Procurement, Finance).
* Support business priorities by delivering insight and value, utilising a deep understanding of financial and commercial drivers; advise on the business implications of cost, pricing, and supply chain decision-making.
* Influence and drive the right behaviours and accountability, and seek continuous improvement of systems and processes to deliver business results.
The Candidate
* CA/CPA qualified.
* Demonstrated strategy or finance experience in FMCG or manufacturing environments, with a focus on Supply Chain finance business partnering.
* Team leadership skills, particularly during times of change, achievement, and outcome focus.
* Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present complex financial concepts clearly to build commercial awareness and understanding.
* Ability to build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key stakeholders, understanding objectives and identifying risks and opportunities.
* A strong desire to be proactively involved and influence cross-functionally within the company.
Please Note: This role is initially a 2-month contract and is part-time, 3-4 days per week.
