Are you highly organised, detail-focused, and ready to make a real difference? MAF (Mission Aviation Fellowship) is looking for someone who can keep our engineering team running smoothly—both on the ground and in the skies.
Your role in a nutshell
You'll be the go-to of our engineering facility, managing everything from aircraft parts and tooling to invoices and supplier relationships. You'll also provide vital admin support—keeping records accurate, work packs flowing, and the engineering team supported so they can focus on safe, efficient operations. This is a part-time role (3 days a week), and we're open to flexible hours.
MAF International (Mission Aviation Fellowship) is a global organisation using light aircraft to deliver help, hope and healing in Jesus' name in over 30 developing countries. For more than 75 years, MAF has been transporting patients, relief workers, produce and medical supplies to the world's remotest regions and places of deepest human need - places where flying is not a luxury but a lifeline.

Responsibilities

You'll be the backbone of our engineering facility, managing everything from aircraft parts and tooling to invoices and supplier relationships. You'll also provide vital admin support—keeping records accurate, work packs flowing, and the engineering team supported so they can focus on safe, efficient operations.
What you'll do
* Keep stock, parts, and tools compliant, current, and ready to go.
* Order, receive, and track aircraft components and consumables.
* Support the engineering team with admin, records, training coordination, and timesheets.
* Liaise with suppliers and contractors, manage freight, and oversee annual stocktake.
* Be the welcoming face for visitors, calls, and customers at the engineering facility.
* Take part in daily prayer and live out your faith as part of the MAF Arnhem Land team.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience
What we're looking for
* Secondary school education (extra training like CASA goods receipt/dispatch is a bonus).
* Strong computer skills (Excel, Outlook, databases).
* Organised, methodical, with great attention to detail.
* Flexible, proactive, and a good communicator.
* Willing to learn engineering terminology (bonus if you already know it).
* A heart to serve and grow as part of a Christian team.
