About the Role
Our Federal Government Client is seeking a Deliver Manager
This is a 12-month contract role with 2*12 month possible extension, located at our client’s ACT in a hybrid set-up.

Job details
Delivery Managers unblock issues, support the delivery team, and monitor and improve performance of the team. They use agile methodologies, learning and iterating the product and processes frequently to meet user needs. They work with Product Managers to define the roadmap for products and services, remove blockers and support the delivery team so that they can maintain delivery throughput.

Key duties and responsibilities
An ICT Delivery Manager is required for several programs of work in the ITS Branch.
The ICT Delivery Manager will be responsible for a diverse range of strategic initiatives including the implementation of the Cyber Uplift Program, Second Pass Business Case and ICT NPP initiatives. The immediate focus will be to work closely with the ITS core leadership team, technical advisory group, to ensure coordination and planning of these critical initiatives align with other priorities and lines of work.
The successful candidate will possess strong relationship building, consultation and collaboration expertise with Senior IT customer management, program oversight and business partnering outcomes.

Key Accountabilities will be:
Support the CIO in the implementation of a strategic ICT planning that provides central oversight of development and management for the Cyber Uplift Program and other

- initiatives, including forecasting, budgeting, reporting and control, ensuring a rolled-up branch view;
- Providing strategic advice and guidance to the CIO on the impact of these strategic initiatives;
- Lead the development and analysis of regular reporting on their financial position and key delivery milestones;
- Establishing and managing a ICT risk management framework for the initiatives.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
Essential

- Leadership and program management skills with experience working at a strategic portfolio level;
- Experience in ICT and program management frameworks and the ability to blend them together in the correct proportions to fit a complex and dynamic environment;
- Experience in delivering on high profile programs of work, particularly associated with NPP’s and associated second pass business cases that hold the attention of a broad set of stakeholders;
- Experience in designing, evaluating and presenting qualitative and quantitative planning, program and operational performance data;
- Experience with identification and management of ICT risks;
- Ability to support and deliver on major organisational change programs;
- Identify issues and risks to branch delivery, initiate processes for resolution and integrate prospect management into resource planning, decision making and priority setting.

Desirable

- Familiarity and ability to work in a complex, fast paced and demanding matrix organisation;
- Experience in establishing new planning and prioritisation frameworks to enable strategic decision making across the branch.

Location of services: Canberra
Clearance required: NV1, or at least Baseline with the ability to obtain their NV1 (i.e. must be an Australian citizen) and able to successfully complete the Agency Suitability Assessment (ASA) prior to commencing.

Due to security clearance requirements for this role, candidates must be Australian citizens and must have NV1 security clearance.
