Job Description
We are currently seeking an experienced Rural CRT Sales assistant.
Responsible for driving sales through delivering excellent customer service through face-to-face interaction with customers in the CRT store. Safety of yourself, and those around you remains our highest priority across all positions
You will work closely with our valued customers and vendors to ensure mutually beneficial, long term relationships are created and maintained. You will promote and actively contribute to Sunshine Hardware and Rural's endeavour of being the catchments first choice provider for all rural products and services in the region.
Responsibilities:
* Assist customers with store directions and general queries, providing excellent customer service.
* Handle routine and specialist customer enquiries and complaints in a professional and helpful manner. Seek support from Management as required.
* Provide information on products to enable customers to make an informed purchase.
* Attend company, safety and product training sessions as required.
* Maintain adequate level of industry and product knowledge, including application.
* Identify and share opportunities to increase sales.
* Complete price checks and ensure Price Integrity for items in the store or area of responsibility (department).
* Manage housekeeping in department, including tidying shelfs and some cleaning.
* Present stock to visual merchandising standards.
* Ensure ticketing meets required standards.
* Understand and uphold WH&S requirements for CRT products.
* Replenish stock as required.
You will have:
The successful candidate will ideally have a thorough knowledge of the rural industry and/or an understanding of the Hardware Retail Industry & Building supplies industry.
In addition, the successful applicant should have/be:
* Sales focused and goal-driven.
* Displays excellent interpersonal, communication and mentoring skills.
* A passion for creating a fantastic customer experience.
* A Forklift licence
