We are a growing residential housing solutions company that specialises in helping clients design, coordinate and obtain approvals for new homes.
Our team works closely with designers, engineers, certifiers and builders to guide projects from concept through to building approval. Once approvals are complete, projects are delivered through a network of builders.
We are currently looking for a reliable and organised Building Approvals & Project Admin Coordinator to assist with managing approvals and supporting general administration within the business.
This role would suit someone who already understands building approvals, certification processes, or construction documentation, and enjoys coordinating projects and keeping systems organised.
The Role
Your primary responsibility will be assisting in the coordination of building approvals and related documentation.
This includes working with a range of consultants and service providers to ensure projects move efficiently through the approval process.
Responsibilities include:
* Coordinating building approvals from start to finish
* Liaising with designers, engineers, certifiers and other consultants
* Preparing and managing documentation for approval submissions
* Tracking approval progress and following up with consultants
* Maintaining project records within our Monday.com management system
* General office administration and digital filing
* Basic bookkeeping tasks using Xero
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
* Experience in the building, design or property industry
* Some familiarity with building approvals, certification or council processes
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Confidence dealing with consultants and service providers
* Basic understanding of accounting concepts (Xero experience helpful but not essential)
* Good computer skills and ability to learn new systems
* A proactive and reliable work ethic
Experience coordinating building approvals, certification, or working with building designers, certifiers or town planners will be highly regarded.
Position Details
* Location: Bundall, Gold Coast
* Hours: Approximately 4 days per week, 4–5 hours per day
* Engagement: ABN contractor arrangement
* Flexible working hours for the right candidate
