About the Role:

We are currently seeking several dedicated security professionals to join our team in Rockhampton. As a Senior Asset Protection Officer, you will be a proactive and motivated security professional with a passion for protecting assets and always maintaining safety.
Roster: Ad hoc Day, Night & Weekend shifts – Shifts are generally 12 Hours long
Employment Type: 2 X Casual Positions Available
Travel Type: You must have your own vehicle and be self-reliant getting to/from shifts
Key Responsibilities:
* Execute Asset Protection Officer duties as directed by management.
* Maintain a comprehensive understanding of site security policies, procedures, and applicable legislation.
* Assist in achieving contractual KPIs through effective service delivery.
* Provide on-the-job training to team members as directed.
* Conduct thorough vehicle and foot patrols, documenting accurate post-patrol reports.
* Operate security equipment including CCTV, radios and general office tools safely and reliably.
* Complete timely and accurate documentation as required.
* Uphold high standards for uniforms and personal protective equipment (PPE).
* Participate in toolbox talks and professional development sessions.
* Assist in maintaining site assets and vehicles to ensure compliance.
* Prepare and submit detailed reports on safety incidents, security events, and patrols.
* Adhere to all company and client policies and procedures.
* Perform any additional tasks as assigned by CPA or site management.
Mandatory Skills and Qualifications: For any qualifications noted below, please outline the items which you currently hold in your cover letter and provide copies with your application, or immediately post interview.
* Certificate II in Security Operations
* Current QLD Security Officer's Licence Class 1 (Unarmed and monitoring)
* Current unrestricted QLD Driver's Licence as per site requirements
* HLTAID009 – Provide CPR (refresher required as per national guidelines) (desirable)
* HLTAID011 - Provide First Aid (refresher required as per national guidelines)
* Prepare to Work Safely in the Construction Industry CPCWHS1001 (or equivalent course CPCCOHS1001A)
* Proof of working rights in Australia (Passport, Visa, or Birth Certificate) must be provided to Human Resources
