About the Role
* Permanent full time position
* Roster: 10 days on / 4 days off with every second Friday/Saturday/Sunday/Monday off, 6am to 4pm or finish
* Allocating freight to ensure both safety and maximum vehicle utilisation
* Co-ordinate work with customers to provide quality service outcomes
* Co-ordinate driver's workloads in accordance with Standard, BFM and AFM systems and processes
* Supervise team including rostering staff in accordance with operational requirements
Ideally you will have
* A minimum of 2 years experience in a transport environment, ideally in a logistics operational role
* Previous (FMCG) logistics experience with refrigerated freight, fresh produce and palletised freight will be highly regarded
* Sound Microsoft Office skills and attention to detail
* Demonstrated understanding of Fatigue Management, Mass Management, Quality Assurance and Chain of Responsibility
* Operations Schedulers Certification TLIF0006 or equivalent highly regarded or willing to obtain prior to start date if successful
* High Risk Forklift Licence desirable
