THE ROLE
We’re seeking a Senior Architect / Project Leader with proven experience in civic or sports facility projects to join their growing national team. With major projects secured, this is an opportunity to step into a senior role, shaping some of Australia’s most significant community and recreation spaces.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading complex civic or sports projects from concept through to delivery
- Coordinating engineering consultant inputs and ensuring compliance with NCC and Australian Standards
- Managing client relationships and contractor engagement
- Undertaking site inspections and utilising platforms such as Aconex or Procore
- Overseeing project documentation and coordination in a Revit environment
- Leading and mentoring a team of architects and technicians
The studio operates a national cloud-based model, so location flexibility may be available for the right candidate.
ABOUT YOU
- Registered Architect with 10+ years of local industry experience
- Demonstrated portfolio of civic or sports projects, with experience in complex builds
- Strong knowledge of NCC, Australian Standards, and documentation practices
- Skilled communicator with confidence in client and contractor engagement
- Proficiency in Revit and experience coordinating consultant inputs
- On-site delivery experience, including inspections and contractor liaison
- A collaborative leader with the ability to mentor and inspire a project team
- Ready to take on a Senior Associate (or higher) level role, depending on experience
