Contribute to the provision of high quality nutritional services to all patients/clients/stakeholders through following established dietary guidelines, ensure accuracy of all meals provided and supply relevant data in relation to preparation requirements.
The Role
An opportunity has become available for several Diet Monitors to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 13 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
* Liaise with nutrition staff and speech pathologists regarding the provision of special / therapeutic diets.
* Utilise effective organisational skills with the ability to manage workloads.
* Maintain current nutrition knowledge, including knowledge of the health care system.
* Supervise and check accuracy of meal trays at each meal service.
About you
To be successful in this position you will require:
* Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B
* Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
* Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
* Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

Salary
* Permanent full time
* Permanent part time (several positions, hrs negotiable)
* Base salary ranging from $68 471 - $71 983 per annum, $34.53 - $36.30 per hour
