We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Self Storage Consultant to join our team at our Gladstone facility. You will contribute to Storage Choice's success by supporting the Store Manager in achieving store objectives and targets.
The position is one of support to the Store Manager. Role will include regular maintenance/cleaning of the facility and gardens. Sales / customer service experience preferred however training will be provided. Intermediate computer skills required for use of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel) and Storman management software, used for customer invoicing and payments. Training will be provided upon commencement.
What you will be doing:
General maintenance and cleaning of the facility and gardens
Signing up and selling self storage products to customers
Handling telephone, email and walk in enquiries
Consulting with customers on self-storage needs
Entering customer information into the database
Taking payments
Working as a team to achieve store sales targets
Ideal Candidate:
Must be reasonably fit and hard working. Job will include general cleaning around the facility.
You will be confident when dealing with customers and have excellent communication skills along with a friendly and enthusiastic attitude and a willingness to learn. Able to work independently and willing to receive direction from the store manager. Able to work extra hours from time to time to cover for holidays / sick leave. Must have current diver's licence.
This is a casual position with average hours of 22.5 hours per week. Must be available to work Monday to Friday, as shifts may vary and be available to work full-time to cover managers leave.
