Due to the expansion of our restaurant chain, we are looking for a Delivery Rider. As a Delivery Rider at Lock's Paddock Restaurant, you will be the face of our restaurant in the community, ensuring that our delicious meals are delivered promptly and safely to our customers. Your primary responsibility will be to transport food orders from the restaurant to various locations while providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Order Pickup and Delivery:
- Collect food orders from the restaurant and ensure they are accurately packed and ready for delivery.
- Deliver orders to customers' homes or designated locations in a timely manner.
- Customer Interaction:
- Greet customers with a friendly demeanor upon delivery.
- Address any customer inquiries or concerns professionally and courteously.
- Route Management:
- Plan efficient routes to minimize delivery time and maximize customer satisfaction.
- Utilize GPS navigation tools to find the best routes.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road.
- Maintain the cleanliness and safety of your delivery vehicle (bicycle, motorcycle, or car).
- Communication:
- Stay in contact with the restaurant staff regarding order status and any potential delays.
- Provide feedback on delivery processes to help improve service efficiency.
- Record Keeping:
- Accurately manage and record deliveries, ensuring all transactions are processed correctly.
- Report any issues with orders or deliveries to management promptly.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license or appropriate riding permit (if applicable).
- Reliable transportation (bicycle, motorcycle, or car) with valid insurance.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Previous experience in a delivery role is a plus but not required.
- Knowledge of the local area is preferred.

Pay: From $48.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 24 per week
