Mount Isa Mines is currently seeking suitably qualified applicants for the role of Plumber/Pipefitter to work in the Surface Operations - HV & Refrigeration Team.

The Role
Reporting to the Supervisor, your primary responsibility will include performing planned and breakdown maintenance tasks safely and effectively while maintaining a high quality of work and housekeeping standards. This is a residential position based in Mount Isa, working a Monday to Friday dayshift only roster.
Responsibilities
Performing planned and breakdown maintenance tasks
High level of work and housekeeping standards
Ability to work closely with our business units and leaders on an ongoing basis
Skills & Attributes
Trade qualification – Plumbing
Gas Fitting
Manual driver's licence
Recent field experience is highly regarded
Personal role modelling and delivery of high safety standards
An emphasis on continual improvement and development is essential
Attention to detail and good communication skills
Ability to work positively in a team environment or unsupervised
A sound understanding of workplace OH&S
Willingness to accommodate new challenges, proficient customer focus and effective time management skills
Willingness to work extra hours when required
Ability to meet targets
