The Role
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Civil Engineer to join our team. You will play a key role in planning and overseeing the completion of road construction projects, ensuring compliance with TMR specifications and safety standards. The position is available as a DIDO role.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and oversee civil road construction projects, ensuring compliance with TMR guidelines
* Provide technical expertise in site investigations, design, and project management
* Conduct quality assurance checks and ensure adherence to engineering best practices
* Collaborate with project managers, site teams, and external stakeholders
* Identify and resolve engineering challenges to enhance project efficiency
* Maintain strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety regulations
Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
* Proven experience in civil road construction (TMR project experience preferred)
* Strong knowledge of Queensland road infrastructure standards
* Ability to interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications
* Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
* Ability to work in regional locations
