Overview
At the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC), this role leads the design of energy regulatory frameworks, codes and guidelines; provides expert regulatory advice; collaborates with industry, governments and consumer bodies; represents ACCC interests and builds stakeholder relationships; identifies opportunities to improve workflows and processes.
What You Will Do
* Leading the design of energy regulatory frameworks, codes and guidelines that align with national objectives and market evolution.
* Providing expert advice to internal and external stakeholders on regulatory approaches, risks and policy implications.
* Collaborating with industry, governments and consumer bodies to develop and co-design robust, evidence-based regulations.
* Representing the interests of ACCC; building and managing stakeholder relationships with industry bodies, Government agencies (Commonwealth and State), consumer groups and internal stakeholders.
* Identifying, contributing and leading initiatives to improve ACCC workflows and processes.
About You / Qualifications
* Tertiary qualifications in economics, corporate finance, law, public policy, engineering or related fields or equivalent experience.
* Experience leading regulatory design and stakeholder engagement in energy or related sectors is preferred.

$143,411 - $168,064 (plus 15.4% superannuation)
