About the role
We're currently seeing applications for the Hospital Nurse Coordinator (HNC) position at St Vincent's Private Hospital Brisbane on a causal basis. The Hospital Nurse Coordinator assists with the operational management of the hospital outside of normal business hours, specifically relating to clinical leadership, patient access, appropriate staffing levels and emergency response procedures.

Things that work for us
* Registered with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency) as a Registered Nurse
* Current and valid Advanced Life Support Certification
* Minimum of 5 years' recent nursing experience in a hospital environment
* Previous management experience in an acute tertiary hospital, preferably as a Nurse Unit Manager, Hospital Nurse Coordinator or similar
* Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to successfully guide and support the development of the casual workforce
* Ability to plan and coordinate patient/resident/client care effectively, maintain patient/resident/client advocacy and utilise patient/client management systems
* Able to work on a casual basis with flexible work hours to be rostered over a variety of shifts
