Venues NSW is a commercially focused agency of the NSW Government, encompassing the Sydney Cricket Ground and Allianz Stadium as well as major sporting and cultural stadiums and precincts in Sydney, Olympic Park, Parramatta, Newcastle and Wollongong. The network of stadiums and entertainment centres host in excess of 5 million people a year at more than 500 events and is a key contributor to the economy.

About the Role
The Groundsperson role sits within our pivotal Grounds team, who are responsible for preparation, maintenance and upkeep of the Accor Stadium and CommBank Stadium's playing fields and the surrounding landscaped areas for sporting and other events. This role is an outstanding opportunity to combine your love for sport with your vocation.
About You
The successful candidate will assist the Curator and Grounds Team with the preparation and maintenance of the playing fields to meet all hirers expectations and guidelines.
Qualifications and Experience
* Qualifications in Sports Turf Management, Greenkeeping or a related field
* Experience in wicket preparation and maintenance
* At least 2 years' experience in preparation of playing surfaces
* Evidence of career development and progression opportunities
* Understanding of benefits associated with working at major sport and entertainment venues
