About the Role
This is a 12-month casual position, based in Sydney (various locations available). This role requires full availability, including weekends and public holidays, as the roads we manage operate 24/7.

Key Responsibilities
Monitor traffic flow and respond to incidents using ITS, CCTV, and other systems
Coordinate with emergency services and dispatch response crews
Operate key systems including ventilation, drainage, and fire panels
Communicate updates via Variable Message Signs and digital platforms
Log incidents accurately and escalate issues as needed
Support training, mentoring, and continuous improvement initiatives
Skills & Experience
Strong communication skills in high-pressure environments
Sound decision-making and situational awareness
Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
Ability to complete structured training and assessments
Experience in traffic operations or emergency response coordination (preferred)
