We are currently seeking a highly motivated Dental Receptionist and Assistant to join our team on a full‐time, part‐time, or casual basis for an immediate start. Experience is not mandatory; full training will be provided, and a Dental Assisting TAFE course will be offered to the right candidate.
You will coordinate daily reception functions, ensuring a seamless process for our patients. You will collaborate closely with the clinical team and perform all aspects of general dental assisting and patient management. Training will be provided for all aspects of the job. You will also be integral to sterilisation of instruments, infection control, and the general hygiene of the practice.
Qualifications
* High level of initiative and motivation
* Well presented, reliable, and strong work ethic
* Good time management skills
* High level of communication and interpersonal skills
* Team‐oriented individual with a positive attitude
* Flexible availability: 8:00 am–6:30 pm Monday–Friday; Saturdays once a month on a rotational basis if needed
* Great phone manner
* Ability to build rapport with patients and their families
Responsibilities
* Reception desk duties: bookings, phone calls, and billing
* Room preparation
* Maintenance of equipment
* Maintenance of stock levels
