OverviewAustralian Citizens With NV1 Clearance residing in Australia only respondContractContract start ASAP to 6 months, 2 x 12 months extensions.Responsibilities and RequirementsOver 5 years experience in implementing large scale ICT networks (i.e. switching and routing) using Arista equipment.Detailed knowledge of different cyber security and network technologies.Knowledge and experience in working on geographically dispersed and constrained networks, the associated security threat landscape and related mitigations.Experience in developing solutions for private cloud or tenancy.Experience in building and deploying within a segmented network environment, with focus on virtualization and platform layer.Experience in implementing and testing Quality of Service (QoS) DSCP markings of traffic to meet defined standards within secure federated environments.Basic understanding of Hypervisor/Hyper-Converged Infrastructure, ActiveDirectory and PKI certificate services.Ability to take requirements, standards, and frameworks and apply them in a practical application to future proposed solution designs and systems.Ability to adapt quickly to changing requirements in a quick-paced environment to meet changing deadlines and shifting priorities.Experience in developing highly available/fault tolerant systems, networks, and infrastructure in a connected, partially connected, degraded, or oftendisconnected state.Skills and experience configuring the following technologies: F5 BIG-IP; VMware vSphere / ESXi / NSX; Nutanix AHV; Arista; Gigamon; Cisco Unified Communications VOIP/VTC systems.Skills and in-depth knowledge of the following scripting languages: Ansible, Python, Bash, PowerShell.Desirable Skills and ExperienceExperience working within the Defence environment.Knowledge and skills in the design, implementation, and configuration of automation and orchestration technologies and services, for example Ansible, Git, Scripting.Ability to rapidly build, automate, and deliver proof of concept systems to support analysis, testing, accreditation and development activities, preferably within a DevSecOps process.Detailed knowledge and skills in design, implementation and configuration on one or more of the following technologies: SDN; Voice and video collaboration technologies; Next Generation Firewall, e.g. Fortinet; F5 Local Traffic Manager, Global Server Load Balancing, Web Application Firewall, Access Policy Management.
