The _Parliamentary Administration Act 2005_ and the _Parliamentary Officers (Non-Executive Staff - Victoria) Single Enterprise Agreement_ will be revised during 2024 and is a nexus agreement to the Victorian Public Sector Enterprise Agreement. It is anticipated that the revised salary range for Grade 4 will be $95,102 - $107,905.
**About the role**
The Work Health and Safety (WHS) Officer plays a key role in building a strong safety culture at Parliament of Victoria, ensuring compliance with WHS legislation and best practices.
Reporting to the Manager of Work Health and Safety, this role is the perfect opportunity for someone with a desire to learn and get involved in incident management, risk reduction, and emergency planning. Using your solid interpersonal skills, you will collaborate with various employee groups to improve WHS initiatives and promote safety standards, ergonomics, and overall workplace wellbeing.
**About you** 
- You are committed to continuous improvement with a good understanding of WHS legislation. 
- You have experience using WHS services and systems, such as incident reporting and risk management. 
- You are an excellent communicator with stakeholder management skills, essential for building meaningful relationships to foster a culture of safety. 
- You are proficient with technology and handling administrative tasks such as managing incident management systems and reporting. 
- You hold certifications or qualifications in Work Health and Safety (desirable).
