Account Executive
Location: Australia
Role Summary: Prospecta is seeking an experienced Account Executive to drive new customer acquisition and revenue growth across Australia and the broader ANZ region. This high-impact, hunter role focuses on prospecting, building pipeline, and closing subscription-based SaaS deals.
Key Responsibilities
* Drive revenue growth through net-new customer acquisition and expansion of new accounts.
* Prospect, qualify, and close subscription-based enterprise SaaS opportunities.
* Develop and execute strategic account and territory plans aligned to customer business objectives.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and executive stakeholders, including CXO level.
* Develop and manage alliances and channel partnerships, including regional and global systems integrators.
* Collaborate with internal teams (Marketing, Presales, Alliances, and Customer Success) to progress opportunities and close deals.
* Coordinate product demonstrations and value‐based presentations to business stakeholders in collaboration with the presales team.
* Respond to RFPs and RFIs and prepare proposals and Statements of Work.
* Maintain accurate and timely customer, opportunity, and activity data within CRM.
* Own pipeline management, forecasting accuracy, and achievement of quarterly revenue targets.
* Promote Prospecta's brand, solutions, and customer success stories in the market.
* Provide structured customer feedback to internal teams to support product, system, and process improvements.
Must have
* 3–5 years of SaaS based Enterprise Software sales experience.
* Proven hunter profile with a consistent track record of meeting or exceeding quarterly sales targets.
* Strong prospecting, discovery, and qualification skills.
* Ability to articulate business value and deliver effective customer engagements.
* Experience building and managing pipeline using modern sales engagement and outreach tools.
* Understanding of ERP systems and related enterprise platforms.
* Solid understanding of enterprise buying cycles and customer decision‐making processes.
* Ability to stay current with product knowledge, positioning, and market trends.
* Willingness to travel domestically and interstate for customer meetings as required.
