THE ROLE:
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this role is responsible for the general maintenance and upkeep of Crystalbrook Vincent. You will work within a proactive and efficient team to ensure the smooth operation of the hotel.
The position involves assisting with daily building maintenance operations, performing tasks related to building systems, mechanical and electrical maintenance, energy management, and fire/life safety. You will collaborate with the maintenance team and communicate with both internal and external hotel stakeholders.
You will enhance the guest experience by:
- Ensuring the safe and reliable operation of equipment and facilities for guests and staff
- Maintaining a positive image of the hotel and protecting its assets
- Completing daily maintenance and preventative tasks
- Championing WH&S; standards in all work areas
- Responding promptly to urgent repair requests
- Performing hands-on maintenance tasks
