**About the role**
Liebherr Crawler Crane and Foundation Equipment Division is seeking an experienced National Service Manager for our Australia and New Zealand operations, based out of our Sydney branch in Erskine Park. Reporting through to the General Manager, you will lead an experienced and dynamic team delivering high quality customer service support and managing the day-to-day service and parts operations whilst identifying opportunities in the market for further growth.
This opportunity is best suited to an individual with extensive experience in the industry and is both motivated and customer focused.
**Duties**:
- Develop and deliver the strategic goals for Customer Service and Parts operations
- Provide leadership and direction (Field Service Technicians, Parts and Administration)
- Profit and loss responsibility
- Maintain and develop capability that supports effective delivery of service
- Establish and maintain long standing relationships with new and existing customers
- Plan, implement and monitor continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain implemented safety standards and ongoing safety culture
- Pursue new and existing service sales opportunities
- Coach and develop Service Team
- Ensure behaviour is consistent with business values and expectation/s
**Skills & Experience**:
- Experience in a service management role within the Construction Equipment or Crane industry
- Technical knowledge of Cranes, Foundation Equipment or similar
- Tertiary qualifications in a business-related discipline, with a focus on management or leadership will be highly regarded.
- Capable in creating a sense of partnership and forging strong relationships
- Previous management or team leadership experience
- Ability to manage departmental P&L's, quotes, WIP & invoicing; and to identify areas for improvement or additional business opportunity
- Good communication and negotiation skills
