We are a family run farm located in the Young district, producing Cherries and stone fruit, currently seeking an energetic and enthusiastic current staff member to join us and work efficiently within our current team.
The position:
The role will involve taking part in the day to day operations and duties involved with an orchard as directed by the orchard Supervisor/manager including but not limited to pruning, tree training, irrigation maintenance, tractor/machinery operations as well as fruit harvest. Casual rates, 38+ hours per week, with extra hours available during harvest season.

Have a positive attitude toward all aspects of Work Health and safety.
Desirable criteria:
Ability to operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment in a safe manner. (E.g. tractors, slashers, pruning equipment)
Robust time management skills
Knowledge of machinery, basic mechanics.
Availability to work outside usual hours when required (e.g. weekends, extra hours during harvest season)
Have or be willing to obtain a Highrisk/forklift licence, HC licence and Chemcert accreditation
