Team Member Operations (Roads & Bridges)

We are looking for experienced individuals who have worked in the civil construction industry before to join the team
Location
MidCoast Council Depot, Oak Street, Gloucester ****; may be required to work at other Council sites across the MidCoast Council region.
Employment Type
Permanent, Full Time.
Salary
Commencing salary package range circa $55,910 to $61,510 p.a. plus superannuation, dependent on skills and experience.
Responsibilities
Undertake manual labouring tasks in roads, bridges and drainage maintenance and construction.
Operate minor plant equipment and truck operations (rollers, tractors, slashers, trucks and watercarts).
Perform traffic control duties, including holding a current approved Traffic Controller's Card and implementing Traffic Control Plans.
Comply with environmental requirements and Health & Safety procedures.
Support maintenance and construction duties across the council region.
Qualifications
Current NSW Class C Driver's licence (or higher).
WorkCover accredited Construction Induction Card (White Card) and sound knowledge of Work, Health and Safety procedures.
Experience operating minor plant equipment.
Willingness to obtain or hold a Current approved Traffic Controller's Card.
Experience in civil construction industry.
