Permanent – Full Time - 19 day month with RDO or 9 day fortnight option, your choice!

Fixed Term - Part time – Maternity leave replacement x 2 – 1 x 0.63 & 0.84

The City of Whittlesea has some exciting permanent, fixed termand casual opportunities available for qualified Maternal and ChildHealth Nurses to join our inclusive and supportive MCH Team.

The MCH Service is a varied and dynamic service with amultidisciplinary team of MCH nurses, early childhoodprofessionals, lactation consultants, aboriginal MCH program,social worker, family violence practitioner and administrationteam. With all team members being well supported by the MCHleadership team.

You will be a compassionate and dedicated Maternal and ChildHealth Nurse who enjoys making a positive impact through providinga flexible and responsive service to families with youngchildren.

In this role you will:

* Provide the Victorian Maternal and Child Health ServiceProgram using a family centred partnership approach in accordance with the service program guidelines and standards.
* Facilitate group work, including new parent groups, drop-inprograms, and group-based initiatives
* Support and participate in the student clinical placementprogram within the Maternal and Child Health Service.

About you
* Current registration with the Australian HealthPractitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Division 1Registered Nurse and Midwife.
* Hold Postgraduate qualifications in Child Family and Community Health- Maternal Child Health Nursing
* Demonstrated knowledge and skills to provide and deliver the Victorian Maternal & Child Health program to the diverse range of families with young children from birth to schoolage.
* Demonstrated knowledge of primary health care, healthpromotion and principals of early intervention.
* A commitment to the provision of a quality service and continuous improvement.
