As we continue to evolve and transform our Global Finance Operations, we have an exciting new opportunity for an **Accounts Payable Team Leader** to join the team.
As the **Accounts Payable Team Leader,** you will lead a small team of AP Specialists and manage the day-to-day operations of the onshore AP and Expense team.
**Key responsibilities include**:
- Act as 2IC onshore for the Global AP and Expense Manager - P2P
- Provide clear leadership and development to team members on best-in-class Accounts Payable processes, practices and governance to drive strategic intent and direction.
- Liaise with Offshore AP Team Leaders to ensure SOPs are followed and maintained.
- Ensure on-time payments to Vendors using the correct payment terms.
- Process invoices, payments and vendor statement reconciliations.
- Manage queries and issues as required and function as the first point of escalation where issues occur.
- Daily, weekly & monthly AP & Cashflow reporting.
- Maintain good relationships with business and key stakeholders and actively demonstrate Toll values.
- Maintain compliance with the Delegation of Authority.
**Qualifications**:
**Key attributes and experience that will be key to your success are**:
- Minimum 3 years working in an Accounts Payable leadership role.
- Subject matter expert in P2P end to end systems and processes.
- Experience working with SAP S/4hana and SAP Concur.
- Participation in system optimisation, implementations, upgrades projects and testing.
- Exposure using OCR or RPA technology to drive scalability on processes.
- Strong knowledge of Outlook mailbox management.
- The ability to partner with the business to ensure governance and drive adoption policy and processes across all business units.
- Proven experience in working with offshore teams in multi sites and disciplines within P2P.
- Excellent time management, planning and organisational skills in order to manage competing tasks and meets deadlines.
- Excellent people leadership capabilities, performance management and development of staff.
- Excellent verbal, listening, and written communication skills.
- Continuous improvement mindset.
