ROLE PURPOSE

This is a true business development role focused on growing Winc's sales by acquiring new corporate customers across Victoria. You will identify and qualify prospects, engage with key decision-makers and influencers, develop tailored, industry-relevant solutions, present proposals, negotiate agreements, and successfully onboard new customers. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven, high-energy individual to join a market-leading organisation and make a real impact!

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

* Identify and pursue new business within the large corporate segment.
* Develop a targeted approach to engage and win key corporate accounts, ensuring a consistent pipeline of opportunities.
* Conduct thorough market research to anticipate trends, understand customers, and position our offering effectively.
* Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with decision-makers in corporate accounts.
* Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and maximize revenue opportunities.
* Ensure regular reporting on account activities, sales forecasts, and performance metrics.
* Lead negotiations, understanding the intricacies of corporate contracts, pricing, and terms.
* Develop competitive proposals and pitches that align with client requirements and secure long-term partnerships.
* Meet and exceed sales targets by closing deals that drive both revenue and customer satisfaction.

WHAT WE LOOK FOR

* 3+ years' experience in a similar business development role
* Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills with internal and external clients
* Be a self-starter with an ability to plan and implement sales strategy whilst working autonomously
* You will thrive in a competitive and goal-driven environment
* Highly organised, ability to maintain accurate and detailed records of sales activity within the company CRM
* Ability to prioritise responsibilities as well as managing changing and competing priorities
* Demonstrate ability to deal effectively and professionally with all types of people and situations
