ABOUT THE ROLE
As an Executive Officer - CMM Services, your key responsibilities include:
* Provide expert advice to the Department on the development, approval and implementation of Training Package products
* Develop draft Victorian Purchasing Guides (VPGs) for Departmental approval
* Lead strategic planning for CMM Services, including development and implementation of major policies and frameworks impacting statewide VET delivery
* Take responsibility for managing significant resources within CMM area and ensure their effective alignment with the Institute's strategic objectives by contributing to the education and digital innovation initiatives of the broader Chisholm team through insights gathered from various stakeholders
* Participate and support the broader Academic Excellence and Innovation team to achieve Institute's strategical goals through effective implementation of the Education Plan including undertaking tasks assigned
* Manage and coordinate course reaccreditation projects and use effective strategies to successfully complete the projects within agreed timelines
* Engage with stakeholders proactively to gather industry intelligence to enable timely provision of advice to the Government Department
ABOUT YOU
You are a highly motivated individual with well-developed skills in managing education-focused projects and current knowledge of the Australian vocational education system, operating Standards and relevant policies.
Qualifications required for the role
Essential
* Postgraduate qualification in education, management, or related discipline, or equivalent extensive leadership experience in vocational education and training in any of the training packages within AMP, FBP, ICP, MSL, MSM, MSS, MST, PMA, PMB and SFI.
Desirable
* TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent replacement
* Strong understanding of manufacturing and clean economy landscape in Australia.
