Sales Management Melbourne Permanent / Full Time 2/10/2025 Senior Sales leadership role across retail, specialty, and E-Commerce channels Lead a team of 5, reporting to APAC Head, with commercial & strategic ownership Strong team culture, global brand portfolio, & high-impact commercial influence A globally recognised consumer products company is seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Sales – Australia to lead its national sales function from its Melbourne-based head office.
With a portfolio of household-name brands across personal care, home appliances, and hardware, the business operates across a dynamic mix of retail channels — including mass retail, specialty, E-Commerce, and alternative partners.
Reporting directly to the Head of APAC, the Head of Sales will take ownership of the Australian sales strategy, leading a team of five and playing a key role in driving growth, strengthening customer partnerships, and executing commercial initiatives that unlock new opportunities and expand market share.
The role is also instrumental in supporting digital and E-Commerce channel growth, while aligning with Finance, Marketing, and Supply Chain functions to deliver strong cross-functional outcomes.
The ideal candidate will bring deep sales leadership experience within FMCG or consumer goods environments, with a proven track record managing national retail accounts and diverse go-to-market channels.
Strong commercial acumen, a hands-on leadership style, and the ability to influence at both operational and strategic levels are essential.
A bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, or Marketing is required.
Postgraduate qualifications such as an MBA will be viewed favourably.
