Bus Services Supervisor Role:
The Bus Services Supervisor is a critical position responsible for ensuring the continued provision of bus services. This involves coordinating daily vehicle and driver allocations, managing fatigue and safety requirements, and conducting regular assessments to guarantee compliance.
This role demands strong interpersonal and customer service skills, as well as the ability to manage risks and eliminate potential safety issues. The successful candidate will have a valid relevant driver's licence, a Working With Children Check, and previous supervisory or mine-site experience. Basic mechanical knowledge and strong computer skills are also essential.
* Manage schedules, allocate resources, and supervise staff to maintain safe and efficient operations.
* Conduct regular safety assessments and implement corrective actions to prevent incidents and breaches.
* Develop effective relationships with clients, staff, and workshop teams to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
* Report incidents, hazards, and breaches to the Operations Manager and take appropriate action.
