Keppel Bay Sailing Club (KBSC) is seeking reliable and motivated Kitchenhands to join our busy and supportive kitchen team. This role is suitable for candidates ranging from entry-level dishwashers through to experienced kitchenhands with food preparation skills.
About the Role
This role is designed to support kitchen operations across varying levels of experience, including:
* Dishwashing and maintaining a clean, organised kitchen
* Assisting chefs and cooks with food preparation
* Basic prep tasks (vegetables, sauces, plating assistance – experience dependent)
* Cleaning, pack-down, and adherence to food safety standards
* Supporting service periods and back-of-house operations
Duties will be allocated based on your experience, capability, and willingness to learn, with clear opportunities to progress into higher-level kitchen responsibilities.
About You
We are looking for people who are:
* Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
* Willing to learn and take direction in a fast-paced environment
* Physically capable of standing for extended periods and handling kitchen duties
* Committed to cleanliness, food safety, and workplace standards
Experience is welcome but not essential – training will be provided for the right attitude.
