Job Description:
The role of an agricultural technician involves working with farm managers and agronomists to assess soil characteristics, determine effective use, and identify nutrient deficiencies.
* Key Responsibilities: Collect, analyse and interpret plant and soil data samples.
* Provide advice, training and technical support on technology solutions for on-site agronomy and quality assurance laboratory.
* Install, program, test, repair and maintain advanced agriculture technology and equipment.
* Advise farm managers on pathogen management, pest reduction, and nutrition management.
Requirements:
* Qualifications: Diploma in Agronomy or Horticulture Production
* Experience: At least 12 months of work experience in the agriculture industry
* Skills: Excellent communication and time management skills
