Sophie French Tutor is an online French language tutoring business based in Melbourne, supporting Australian high school students with VCE French and general French learning. Lessons are practical, personalised, and focused on helping students feel confident speaking and performing well at school.
Role Description
We are seeking an Online French Tutor to provide high-quality tutoring services to high school and VCE students. This is a part-time contract (ABN) role. Responsibilities include delivering 1:1 lessons (and occasional small groups), tailor lessons to student goals, and support students with VCE skills such as speaking, writing, comprehension, and exam preparation where relevant.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in French Teaching and Online Tutoring methodologies
* Strong Interpersonal Skills and the ability to build rapport with students
* Experience in Tutoring high school or VCE students in the French language
* Ability to adapt teaching methods to cater to individual learning styles
* Familiarity with VCE curriculum or similar educational standards is a plus
* A teaching certification or degree in French, Education, or relevant field is advantageous
* Reliable internet connection and proficiency with online learning platforms
