The **Technical Support Officer **is responsible for assisting with MOVE Bank's IT Helpdesk, the effective support and resolution of IT incidents and problems and also assisting with projects through testing, training and documentation.
Reporting to our IT Manager we are searching for a dedicated, driven and experienced individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences for our internal team members across the business. Ideally, you'll have experience working in a helpdesk role in the banking and finance industry.
Your in-depth knowledge of banking, lending and financial services coupled with your experience providing digital and technology service delivery in support of a high-performance business team will see you fulfill a crucial role in helping drive MOVE Bank's success.
**Your new role**
The Technical Support Officer is responsible for the provision of IT services, IT Operations and service delivery support to MOVE Bank staff. This is achieved through the delivery of daily and reoccurring operational tasks, responding promptly to help desk and service calls and providing both onsite and remote IT support.
You'll find it easy to demonstrate your experience running and supporting IT Operations with a busy IT Help Desk and providing onsite support to the team. You will strive to meet deadlines and accomplish daily tasks and projects. Your knowledge and experience will also include working with multiple sourcing partners and tools to deliver the required services.
**Responsibilities include-**
- Working with multiple parties to monitor, respond and attend promptly to IT service tickets
- Maintain hardware and peripherals including printers, as and when required
- Relocate equipment, install hardware, software and attend to computer room issues, as requested
- Run required operational tasks and processes
- Work with sourcing partners and other third parties on any issues that may arise
- Proactive support, management and improvement of the operational and service delivery environment, where possible
- Run database queries and contribute to the design and delivery of reports as required
- Perform operational tasks as per their schedule timeframes
- Provide out of hours support as required from time to time
**The Person**
Ideally, you will thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and will demonstrate;
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role, core banking experience highly regarded
- That you are a self-starter with experience working in an autonomous environment,
- Knowledge of Office365, SQL, ServiceNow and PowerBI or the willingness to learn
- Server Administration with a focus on Active Directory, Exchange, Vsphere, VPN support and Unix
- Strong communication skills with ability to work across the business and with external stakeholders
