**The Opportunity**:
We have a fantastic new role for a **National Account Manager** to join the forklift business based at our Head Office in Fairfield.
Reporting to the National Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for managing, developing and growing existing national accounts and identifying new opportunities.
Utilising our CRM database and your tenacious business development skills, you will bring new initiatives to the business that will maximise profitability and ensure the company's long-term viability.
We are looking for an individual with strong sales and negotiation skills and experience with strategic planning and meeting sales targets.

**Key responsibilities include**:
- Maintain engagement with existing customers and actively seek new business opportunities
- Maintain the CRM with opportunities and quotations regularly
- Analysis and timely reporting on sales trends, competitive actions, internal intelligence and competitor actions
- Ensure branches are appropriately servicing existing national account customer needs
- Build, foster and retain good working relations with all key decision-makers internally and externally to the business
- Carry out activity reporting weekly to the National Business Development Manager
- Conduct onsite visits with significant customers and prospects
- Provide all customer-required reporting, including KPI service delivery and downtime as required under our contracts and agreements
**The knowledge, skills and abilities we're looking for**:
- Extensive knowledge of the material handling business and products
- Minimum five years experience in a sales-focused position
- Highly developed sales and customer service skills
- Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and maintain a proactive call plan
- Customer-centric with well-developed written and verbal communication skills
- Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Suite Applications
- Good analytical and conceptual skills.
- Current driver's licence and recent driving history report essential
